New Believers Class
Often, small groups of people are better able to interact and learn about a topic than larger groups are. For that reason, Believers Church has the New Believers Class that is taught by our men’s ministry leader Ted Valenzuela.
Nursery
Our Baby Believers Nursery is a ministry, we desire to do God’s work the best way we can. We strive to keep a clean, carefree, Godly environment for all babies ages birth-4 years old. We like to refer to the nursery as preventative & protective ministry to protect what is truth and prevent the plans of the enemy may have for them.
Nursery is provided at all services.
Toddlers
Praise Town is our Toddler class for all children ages 3-K. We have specially trained teachers that know how to teach the word through bible stories, songs, puppets, crafts & snack time. This class is provided at our Sunday morning service.
Children’s Ministry
The heart of our children’s Pastor Monica Pursell is to see kids grasp the truth of the gospel and live that truth into adulthood, all the while transforming the body of Christ and influencing every environment just by living out their faith in HIM! Power Kids Children’s Ministry is a place where God is made real, where Jesus is known and understood, where they will develop a relationship with Him that will involve their spirit, soul and body as they walk out what they learn.

Jr. High Ministry
Our Jr. High Ministry meets every Wednesday night at 7:00pm. Each class is taught in a bible study learning atmosphere. Antonette Walls has a gifting and a one on one anointing with each Jr. High child. We believe that each age needs to be taught to grow in the ways of the Lord early so that we can become who Christ has called us to be.

Youth Ministry
Every Wednesday night, youth (High School) get to participate in their own classes. Bible lessons are taught in such a way that every youth gets to participate and learn. Youth Pastor Tammie Crafton has a unique calling a gifting towards the youth and wants to see all of her “kids” thrive in the ways of the Lord. The youth ministry of Believers Church is recognized for their close interaction and prayer ministry one for another.

Young Adults Ministry
The young adults ministry is designed for ages 18-25 year olds. We are focused to teach them how to live life for God every day of the week. To live a life of excellence & integrity! Our group name is A.L.I.G.N. because we are A Living Influencing Generation 4 Now. Now is the time that we need to Align ourselves up with the body of Christ to help usher in the lost for Jesus. We also believe that we need to live an Influencing life one that is set apart from the world and at a higher standard of excellence. We meet on Sunday Nights @ 6:00pm. Women’s Ministry
The Believers Church Women’s Group is led by Sabrina Newlon these times give the ladies in our church family special interaction. Our women’s group, are Bible studies, prayer & fellowship. These groups provide a refreshing discipleship opportunity for the women in the church. Stay tuned for some upcoming outings.
Men’s Ministry
Accountability among men is an act of integrity. Accountability is designed to protect, encourage, and develop men of all ages. They meet for bible study every other Monday night at the church.
Prayer Groups
We offer many opportunities to meet in a group prayer setting. Monday mornings our Golden Agers groups meet at one another’s homes and pray, an hour before each service we meet and pray with our prayer leader Norma Caywood. Friday night prayer services are held at the church with Pastor John Pursell.
Golden Agers
Once you get past fifty five, the fun has just begun. Whether retired, just plain tired, or active as ever, the Golden Agers group of Believers Church provides refreshment, ministry, and times of valuable interaction. To get involved with this important ministry see Bill & Maxine Pursell.
Food Ministry
Mark and Melanie Pursell lead the food ministry they work closely with other area churches and our Madera Community Food Bank with doing our food pantry every Thursday. We help up to 15 different families with fresh fruits and canned foods with the goal to minister one box at a time the salvation of Christ.
Ushers
The usher team at Believers Church fills an important role. They are involved in directing attendees to their seats, ensuring the safety of the building during services, guiding traffic, helping visitors, answering questions, providing direction, unlocking doors, locking doors, and generally ensuring that the service can proceed problem-free. The usher team is a servant-hearted group of men and women whose ministry is integral to church life.
Media & Technology
Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of The Believers Church. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes. All of our weekly sermons are uploaded to our website in audio formats. We also maintain an active Facebook feed for additional church communication.
